Yuvraj Singh is affected by a germ cell tumor called mediastinal seminoma. Yuvraj is undergoing chemotherapy treatment in USA. Yuvraj Singh's blood tests and X-rays are positive and he is recovering fast. First cycle of chemotherapy ended successfully as Yuvraj is about to move on with his second cycle of chemotherapy.
Yuvraj Sing is undergoing treatment from Dr.Lawrence Einhorn , who successfully headed the treatment of cycling champion Lance Armstrong in 1996.Yuvraj Sing has to undergo chemotherapy for nine weeks which includes the combination of three cancer drugs namely bleomycin , ciplatin and etoposide. Lance Armstrong also wrote a letter to Yuvraj Singh to get well soon and play for India team again.
