England won first test match against India at Lords cricket stadium. India were chasing a big total of 458 on the final day of the first test match. VVS Laxman and Suresh Raina were high scorers for India.
After dismissal of Suresh Raina India cant able to stand as there were 30 overs left to bat on the final day of first test match. India was bowled out for 261 runs and James Anderson was the pick of the bowler for England.
James Anderson took 5 wicket haul in the second innings of first test match at Lords.
Sachin Tendulkar was more defensive in the second innings than in the first innings and tried to save the match. Finally England won the first test match at Lords by 196 runs.
