CSK Won IPL 4 Opener

IPL : CHENNAI SUPER KINGS v KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS at Chennai (Match 1)

CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni proved his captaincy in the opening match of IPL 4 season. CSK snatch 2 run win over KKR in the IPL opener.

CSK won the toss and elected to bat against KKR and set an achievable target of 154 runs for KKR to win. Anirudh Srikanth scored first half century of the tournament and helped CSK to set a fighting target.

KKR opening batsman gave a good start to the chase by Jacques Henry Kallis scoring an half century.

Batting order collapsed in the middle order and with 9 runs needed to win in the last over Tim Southee bowled a tight over. 

CSK once again proved their ability to win very close matches. CSK won by 2 runs.
